Wide Angle announced it will introduce its original character, Hondeer — a playful mascot that channels the brand’s Nordic roots and nature-inspired sensibility with a wink.

Hondeer grows out of Wide Angle’s modern Nordic aesthetic and sporty energy. Created to make the brand feel more approachable and stylish, the character is intended as a new icon that represents the free, confident attitude the brand stands for — not just a simple graphic element.
The name Hondeer blends ‘Hon’ — referencing horns, long associated with authority and abundance — with ‘Deer,’ which nods both to the animal and to ‘Dear,’ meaning someone cherished. That layered meaning reflects Wide Angle’s commitment to valuing nature and life.
Hondeer’s horns visually distill the brand’s heritage by shaping the letter ‘W,’ the first letter of Wide Angle, underscoring a distinctive identity. Its slightly squinted, chic eyes paired with a soft silhouette create a charming, approachable contrast that adds wit and polish to field-ready looks.
Wide Angle will feature Hondeer across items in its 26SS (Spring/Summer) collection, including hats, T-shirts, and Boston bags. By weaving Hondeer motifs into a nature-friendly color palette, the brand aims to offer a cheerful golf style that transitions effortlessly from the course to everyday life.
