[The Public = Reporter Jo Doo-hee] Sejong University’s Job Plus Center announced it will host a Career Fair Makeover Room program for Sejong alumni, soon-to-be graduates, and local young adults on the 28th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the cafe Gonggan Kunst, near the Yangjae aT Center.
The program is tied to a large-scale hiring fair and is designed to give jobseekers who plan to attend the fair timely information and encouragement, along with practical support to improve hiring outcomes. Notably, organizers are creating an on-site base camp near the fair venue where participants can wait, recharge, or take a break between activities.
At the heart of the program are individualized image consultations offered alongside the rest area. Jobseekers who reserve a spot will receive interview-focused image consulting from experts, including personal color analysis and body-type assessment. The goal goes beyond simple makeovers: it’s about crafting a strategic image that aligns with the role and the company’s culture.
Following each assessment, consultants will recommend interview outfits and provide concrete makeup and hairstyling guidance to boost credibility. These tailored tips help participants visually highlight their strengths and convey both professionalism and calm to interviewers.
\”Large-scale fairs bring concentrated opportunities, but they also raise jobseekers’ fatigue,\” a Sejong University Job Plus Center official said. \”By offering tailored support and on-site rest areas that can be used immediately, we aim to help jobseekers perform at their best.\” The official added, \”We will continue expanding hands-on, on-site support to keep pace with the changing hiring landscape.\”
