“Strengthening Board Expertise and Global Push”

Musinsa has tapped Park Chang-geun, a seasoned fashion executive, as a new outside director. With decades of experience across Korea and international markets, the company says he will help tighten board-led transparency and accelerate Musinsa’s global expansion.
Musinsa announced on April 1 that Park was formally appointed at the company’s 14th annual general meeting, which took place on March 31.
Park is one of South Korea’s most respected fashion leaders, with more than 30 years guiding global brands into Korea and helping Korean labels scale abroad. His hire signals Musinsa’s intent to modernize corporate governance while deepening its fashion expertise.
He previously served as vice president at Cheil Industries, CEO of Levi’s Japan and president of Levi’s Korea, proving his leadership on the global stage. Park has also led operations for major brands like MCM, NEPA and Dr. Martens, delivering measurable results in brand repositioning and international strategy.
With Park’s addition, Musinsa now has four outside directors. The company’s 10-member board is composed of three inside directors, four outside directors and three other non-executive directors.
