By Myungsoo Lee, Herald Economy — K-pop group SEVENTEEN pulled in about 133.3 billion KRW (approximately $88.0 million) from a six-month world tour, landing seventh on Billboard’s Top Tours list.
Billboard’s Boxscore semiannual report, released May 27, shows SEVENTEEN staged 25 concerts, drew roughly 574,000 fans and generated about 133.3 billion KRW (approximately $88.0 million) in ticket revenue.
The group launched the NEW_ world tour in September and wrapped it up with an encore run in Incheon this April.
Among K-pop acts, TWICE ranked next highest at No. 12. They played 28 shows, attracted about 434,000 attendees and earned roughly 88.2 billion KRW (approximately $58.3 million).
TOMORROW X TOGETHER placed No. 15, performing 20 shows for around 412,000 fans and bringing in about 80.2 billion KRW (approximately $53.0 million).
Overall, Lady Gaga topped the chart with about 358.0 billion KRW (approximately $236.2 million), followed by Bad Bunny with roughly 348.4 billion KRW (approximately $230.3 million).
