[mdtoday = Reporter Yang Jeong-eui] The K-pop group (G)I-DLE solidified its international profile after U.S. business magazine Forbes included the act on its \”30 Under 30 Asia\” list.
On May 27 (local time), Forbes named (G)I-DLE to the entertainment and sports category of its 2026 30 Under 30 Asia. The magazine publishes the list annually for the Asia-Pacific region to spotlight people and teams under 30 who have shown notable achievements and influence across industries.
Forbes cited the group’s musical accomplishments and potential for further growth as a leading K-pop act. The five members—Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua—debuted in 2018 and have since developed a distinct sound and cultivated a global fanbase.
(G)I-DLE is currently on its fourth world tour, Syncopation, performing for audiences around the world. The group plans to release a new album in July and is scheduled to appear at the U.S. music festival Lollapalooza.
