Public Times — As artificial intelligence reshapes the content industry, experts in broadcasting, drama, advertising and visual effects will meet to discuss human-centered storytelling and production strategies.

PROM, a domestic AI storytelling lab, said on the 27th that it will hold the \”2026 PROM Conference: Content Engineering\” on June 11 at the Artists’ House in Daehangno, Seoul.

The conference aims to explore new production methods and collaboration models appropriate for the AI era. It is being billed as the first industry roundtable in South Korea to formally introduce the role of the \”content engineer.\”

The program comprises three sessions — \”Discourse,\” \”Practice,\” and \”Connecting\” — and will feature presentations, panel discussions and networking over about six hours beginning at 2 p.m.

EBS president Kim Yoo-yeol will deliver the opening keynote, titled \”Value Innovation in Broadcasting Through AI.\” He is expected to outline the conditions that allow content to accumulate value over time in the AI era and to chart strategic directions for broadcasters.

Next, Kim Byung-min, product officer for SOAK — an AI-driven science content platform that won a 2026 iF Design Award in Germany — will speak on science communication in the AI era. Drama director Choi Eun-kyung will follow with a talk titled \”Directors Won’t Disappear,\” examining the role and limits of directors amid AI’s rise.

In Part Two, Lee Soo-young, CEO of AICRON and a veteran of Hollywood and domestic VFX projects, will introduce a node-based production workflow that integrates roughly 200 AI models. Han-kyu Lee, CEO of MONF and a former executive at Cheil Worldwide, will showcase recent cinematic AI advertising work and AI-driven creative strategies.

PROM director Kim Woo-jung will close the program with a presentation proposing a practical content-engineering framework that goes beyond simple prompting, drawing on heuristic prompting techniques and the \”Chain of Story\” methodology.

The conference will end with an open networking session for presenters and attendees.

\”Content engineering isn’t just a technical term,\” PROM director Kim Woo-jung said. \”It’s a new role and mindset for people who organize stories and meaning in the AI era. I hope this conference helps map out a Korean approach to content engineering and serves as a starting point for practical, cross-industry collaboration.\”
