[NewsCulture reporter Park Dong-seon] Global girl group KATSEYE used the momentum from their Coachella set to post a career-high on Billboard’s flagship song chart, underscoring their expanding international profile.
On April 22, HYBE and Geffen Records announced that KATSEYE’s new single ‘PINKY UP’ reached No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated April 25), marking the group’s fourth straight Hot 100 entry.

The run follows ‘Gnarly,’ ‘Gabriela’ and ‘Internet Girl,’ and represents KATSEYE’s best showing yet on the Hot 100. The group also notched career highs on other major international charts—No. 14 on the U.K. Official Singles Top 100 and No. 18 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global—signaling a pronounced rise in global streaming.
Industry observers point to a surge of TikTok short-form clips after their Coachella appearance that amplified interest and translated into measurable streams and sales. Coupled with the sustained performance of their earlier singles, the momentum behind ‘PINKY UP’ could help power KATSEYE’s next phase of international growth.
KATSEYE is already at work on new material, aiming to release their third EP, ‘WILD,’ in August.
