K-pop group BLACKPINK will be honored with a special commemorative stamp celebrating their 10th anniversary.
YG Entertainment said on May 7 that the special stamp will be issued on June 16. The project was produced in collaboration with Korea Post, the postal service under the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Korea Post typically issues commemorative stamps to honor events or figures of national significance. It is uncommon to feature living people other than presidents on such stamps, and BLACKPINK has become the first female K-pop act to be honored in this way.
The set consists of 10 stamps that use images from the group’s album jackets to chart their decade-long musical journey. A commemorative packet will include member portraits and standout performance photos—items likely to be prized by collectors and fans alike.
The stamps and packets will be available at main post offices nationwide and through Korea Post’s online store starting June 16. An online pre-sale will run from 7 p.m. on May 12 through midnight on May 15.
Sales for international fans have also been arranged. Global BLINKs can pre-order via YG SELECT’s English, Japanese and Chinese online stores, as well as Korea Post’s English-language site.
YG Entertainment said, “Fans will be able to experience BLACKPINK’s years and musical moments in a special form. We hope this stamp will become a long-lasting gift for fans around the world.”
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK extended its record streak with its recently released third mini-album, [DEADLINE]. The album sold 1,774,577 copies in its first week on the Hanteo Chart, setting a new record for K-pop girl groups. The title track “GO” entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100, breaking the record for the most chart entries by a female K-pop artist.
Marking their 10th anniversary, BLACKPINK has once again underscored their global stature—this time by leaving an iconic imprint beyond music with a commemorative stamp.
