Hyundai Card said May 21 that tickets for “Hyundai Card Super Concert 28: The Weeknd” sold out roughly 40 minutes after they went on sale.
The Hyundai Card Super Concert, returning after a three-year hiatus, has drawn major attention. The Weeknd first came to Korea in 2018 as part of Hyundai Card’s Culture Project; since then he has risen to global superstardom, and fans will now get another chance to see him live.
Ticketing was held in two phases: a presale for Hyundai Card members and a general sale. The presale, which began at 12:00 p.m. on May 20, sold out by 12:40 p.m. The general sale, which opened at 12:00 p.m. on May 21, sold out in 35 minutes. Peak concurrent users reached 1.3 million, underscoring The Weeknd’s reach as one of the most influential global pop stars of the 21st century.
“Hyundai Card Super Concert 28: The Weeknd” is scheduled for Oct. 7–8 at Goyang Sports Complex.
A Hyundai Card representative said, “With the Super Concert returning after three years, we are preparing to offer a distinctive concert experience that only Hyundai Card can deliver.”
