Studio Ghibli will present its first-ever concert in Korea by the original singers, The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI Original Singers Symphony.
This event is more than an orchestral evening: the original vocalists who helped define the sound and identity of Ghibli’s films will travel to Korea to perform live, giving the concert particular significance.
The program features many of Studio Ghibli’s best-loved works. Original soundtrack pieces that underscored iconic moments in My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle will be brought to life by four original vocalists alongside the sweeping orchestral power of the Tokyo Asia Orchestra, promising audiences a memorable experience.
It is rare to see the original singers from Studio Ghibli’s films perform together in Korea. For fans, the chance to hear in person the voices that carried the films’ emotional weight makes this a particularly meaningful occasion.
The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI Original Singers Symphony will take place on June 6 at the main auditorium of Yonsei University in Seoul. Tickets are available through NOL Ticket and Ticketlink.
