Hyundai Motor said on the 19th that, in collaboration with global content company Peanuts Worldwide (Peanuts), it has released three new in‑car display themes: Snoopy Universe, Charlie Brown & Friends, and Road Trip.
Peanuts, which features Snoopy and Charlie Brown, began as a four‑panel comic strip that appeared in seven newspapers, including The Washington Post. The franchise expanded into TV series and feature films, and by the time creator Charles M. Schulz died in 2000 it had been translated into 21 languages and published in 75 countries.
Hyundai first introduced the Peanuts display theme in the U.S. in December, and it plans to bring the same theme to South Korea in the first half of this year (January–June).
When applied, the theme places Snoopy and Charlie Brown on the ccNC (Connected Car Navigation Cockpit), which features two 12.3‑inch displays. The characters appear in short animations when the vehicle starts or shuts off, and they show up as card‑style panels when users access audio, video, or navigation (AVN) functions.
Models eligible for the Peanuts display theme include the All‑New Santa Fe, New Tucson, All‑New Palisade, IONIQ 9, the 2026 Sonata The Edge, and the New IONIQ 6.
Hyundai plans to expand the lineup of models that can subscribe to the Peanuts display theme via over‑the‑air (OTA) updates. Any model equipped with ccNC should be able to receive the theme.
Customers who want the theme can register their primary vehicle in the MyHyundai app and purchase it from the BlueLink Store. The service costs 29,900 KRW (approximately $22.43).
In February, Hyundai also worked with Pokémon Korea to release two display themes: the Pokémon Pikachu Thunderbolt Theme and the Pokémon Ditto World Theme.
