Group CORTIS (pictured) climbed to No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard main albums chart.
On May 18, Billboard reported that CORTIS’s second EP, GREENGREEN, reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 — the highest placement the group has achieved on that chart. Their debut album, Color Outside the Lines, peaked at No. 15 last year.
The album sold 81,500 copies in its first week, with streaming-equivalent album units (SEA) totaling 5,500. Excluding project teams, CORTIS became the fastest K-pop group to break into Billboard’s top three, doing so just nine months after their debut. Among boy groups that debuted within the last five years, CORTIS is the only one to reach No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
