By Seo Hye-bin, EPN Enpinow — Cats’ Eye is set to embark on a major tour spanning North America and Europe.
The HYBE–Geffen Records–backed global girl group Cats’ Eye announced the dates for THE WILDWORLD TOUR at 10 p.m. on the 13th via the group’s official social channels and the global fan platform Weverse.
THE WILDWORLD TOUR kicks off Sept. 1 in Dublin, Ireland, and will visit major European cities including London, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, Antwerp and Copenhagen.
In October and November, Cats’ Eye will continue the tour across North America with stops in Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C., Belmont Park, Boston, Montreal, Hamilton, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Mexico City.
The run will cover 27 cities across 10 countries in North America and Europe — a notable expansion from their first headlining tour.
Last November and December, Cats’ Eye sold out all 16 shows of their North American tour The BEAUTIFUL CHAOS across 13 cities. Their 15-song set included the then-unreleased track “Internet Girl.”
THE WILDWORLD TOUR also draws attention because it follows the release of their third EP, WILD, which is due in August.
Cats’ Eye has maintained a global presence, performing at major festivals such as Lollapalooza Chicago, Lollapalooza Latin America and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, as well as appearing on stages for awards shows including the Grammy Awards.
In less than two years since their debut, Cats’ Eye has placed four songs on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100: “Gnarly” (No. 82), “Gabriela” (No. 21), “Internet Girl” (No. 29) and “PINKY UP” (No. 28).
Their second EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, released last June, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and has remained on the chart for 45 weeks as of the latest rankings.
Cats’ Eye is also set to perform at the American Music Awards on the 25th (local time). They are nominees in three categories: New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video and Breakthrough Pop Artist.
