The ceremony took place May 8 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. Hosts Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum led the show for the eighth consecutive year.

Hyun Bin took the top acting prize in television for Made in Korea. The other nominees were Ryu Seung-ryong for The Story of Manager Kim, Who Works at a Major Company and Owns a Home in Seoul; Park Jin-young for Unknown Seoul; Lee Jun-ho for Typhoon Company; and Ji Sung for Judge Lee Han-young.
Hyun Bin opened by thanking viewers for watching. He recalled that the director had said the team couldn’t fully enjoy Harbin, so they resolved to have more fun making Made in Korea. After thanking the production team and his fellow actors, Hyun Bin turned to his family in the audience. “I want to thank my wife, Yejin, who is sitting up front, and our son for supporting me during filming,” he said. “I want to tell them I love them.”
