[Sports Today reporter Song Oh-jung] Singer Chungha says she brought I.O.I back together for the group’s 10th anniversary with a single phone call.
On the May 3 broadcast of SBS’s Running Man, I.O.I members Jeon Somi and Chungha — who are participating in the group’s full-lineup 10th-anniversary comeback — appeared on the show.
Chungha said, \”I called around and asked, ‘It’s our 10th anniversary — are we really not going to do anything?’ Everyone agreed to meet right away.\”

Although the members now belong to different agencies and have varied schedules compared with a decade ago, making a reunion difficult, Chungha said they were able to reach agreement immediately.
Touched, Ji Seok-jin suggested, \”Let’s get together again in 10 years,\” but Kim Jong-kook quipped, \”Man, in 10 years you might not even be around,\” prompting laughter.
