[EPN Enpinau reporter Gonari] Jessica, a former member of Girls’ Generation, said she was overcome with emotion and cried after her concert in Vietnam on the 18th.
On the 23rd, she posted photos from the Vietnam concert to her personal social media, calling the experience \”magical.\”
The photos show her in a range of outfits, projecting a professional stage presence. She explained, \”When the Golden Stars began to cry, I tried to hold back my emotions, but the tears came,\” describing why she broke down during the show.
Reflecting on the night, she emphasized how much she values her time with fans. Though separated by distance, she said she felt their support deeply and thanked them, writing that their warm affection will live on in her memory.
She added, \”Thank you for cheering me on and for becoming my Golden Stars,\” underscoring the special bond she shares with her audience.
Fans responded with unwavering affection, both at the concert and online, posting messages saying they’d fulfilled a dream and that they’re proud to be Jessica fans.
One comment that drew attention said, \”It’s ‘Into the New World’ again,\” referring to the moment Jessica performed Girls’ Generation’s debut track as a ballad — a rendition that visibly moved her to tears. Some online users suggested that referencing the group after her departure should be handled with care.
The ballad version of \”Into the New World\” has continued to resonate with fans long after Jessica’s departure from Girls’ Generation.
Jessica debuted with Girls’ Generation in 2007 and became known for numerous hits. After leaving the group in 2014, she expanded into fashion and broadcasting. In 2022, she finished second on a Chinese audition program and went on to debut in a project girl group.
Since 2013, Jessica has been in a public relationship with Tyler Kwon.
