[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Ahn Jae-hyun opened up about his feelings on Gugidong Friends.
The premiere of tvN’s new variety series Gugidong Friends, which aired on the 10th, chronicled the awkward group of singles on their first day living together.
Jang Geun-seok was the first to arrive at the Gugidong house. He was followed by Jang Do-yeon, who quipped that she has lived alone for 14 years.
The third cast member to show up was Lee Da-hee. While she was unloading luggage from the trunk, a suitcase began rolling down the slope and she dashed after it in surprise.
Next came Choi Daniel, who described himself as having lived solo for 20 years. He said he arrived hoping for a vibe similar to the sitcom Three Men, Three Women.
The fifth arrival was Kyung Soo-jin. When asked her age, she laughed and said, “I’ve kind of lost track… I’m 39.” She added that she wants to get married and have children one day, but admitted ruefully that she doesn’t have a partner now.
The final cast member was Ahn Jae-hyun. He bumped into Kyung Soo-jin in front of the building and they walked in together. Choi Daniel teased, “Why are you two coming in together?” — revealing his rom-com–obsessed side.
Choi Daniel reflected, “Everything felt new and exciting in my twenties. Once I hit my thirties, though, I started to feel a certain quiet.”
Ahn Jae-hyun said he often seeks vicarious satisfaction, explaining that he copes by watching vlogs and similar content.
