[By Song O-jung, Sports Today] Broadcaster and former newscaster couple Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young have welcomed their second child, a son.
The pair welcomed a healthy baby boy at around 4 p.m. on the 3rd. Kim So-young announced the news on her social media accounts, receiving an outpouring of congratulations.
TN Entertainment said on the 4th that both the mother and the baby are in good health, are resting, and are celebrating with family.
The couple, who welcomed their first child — a daughter — in 2019, are now parents of two.
Oh joined MBC in 2005 and rose to prominence as a leading announcer. He left the network in 2013 and transitioned to freelance broadcasting, appearing on a wide range of programs.
Kim joined MBC in 2012 and departed in 2017. Since then she has expanded into entrepreneurship, running a bookstore and launching live-commerce initiatives, among other ventures.
The two met as senior and junior announcers at MBC, married in 2017, and have continued to engage the public through broadcasting and various other activities.
