Lee Elijah appeared on the April 4 broadcast of MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View (also known as The Manager).
When Lee Elijah’s vocal coach was introduced, viewers spotted a familiar face: Youngji, who previously performed as a member of the four-piece vocal group Bubble Sisters.
Youngji now serves as a professor in an applied music department and works as a vocal trainer.
The two did not have overlapping careers in music and acting before, but they connected when Lee Elijah competed on Miss Trot 4 and Youngji served as the show’s head vocal coach.

Viewers were surprised when Lee Elijah’s manager did not appear on the show. Youngji explained that Lee has been working on her own for six to seven months without a company, so she currently has no manager.
Youngji said, \”During the competition I often saw her running around. It was painful to watch an actress I admire rushing like that. When I asked why, she told me she had been driving herself, going to the salon alone, and shooting projects by herself. As a teacher, I had to remain impartial during the competition and couldn’t approach her. After the contest ended, feeling concerned, I asked for her phone number and told her I’d act as her aide until she found a good agency. I’m not her official manager, but I am serving as a temporary guardian.\”
Without an agency, Lee Elijah has been taking casting offers directly and managing her own schedule.
