[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] The final day of business for Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon on tvN’s variety series Bogum Magical will be revealed.
In the series finale airing on the 3rd, Park, Lee and Kwak wrap up their time running the neighborhood barbershop and prepare to close its door for the last time. Over the course of the show, the trio forged family-like bonds with the locals who visited the shop; their farewell — equal parts gratitude and regret — promises to be an emotional moment for viewers.
The three added an extra layer of warmth by staying up overnight to prepare keepsake gifts for regular customers. Their carefully laid plan to deliver the presents runs into trouble when none of the phone numbers they call pick up; repeated failed connections leave them visibly flustered and raise the question of whether they’ll be able to get the gifts to their intended recipients.
Meanwhile, actor-turned-chef Kwak Dong-yeon prepares a tailored lunch for three elementary-school regulars who treated the barbershop like a second living room and often helped out. Known for his Korean dishes, Kwak opts for a Western-style menu for this last meal, showcasing a special dish meant to delight the kids and lend a cozy, memorable tone to the barbershop’s final lunch service.
The children, in turn, plan to give the three men small handmade gifts. Touched, Park Bo-gum remarks, \”Our sincerity reached the kids, too,\” hinting at the warm chemistry that has developed between the trio and the youngsters.
The three also collaborated with residents and customers passing through the alley in front of the shop to create a meaningful mural. Bright blossoms bloom across a once-blank wall, and the newly painted scene transforms the space into a one-of-a-kind local landmark.
In another turn, Lee Sang-yi faces a mini crisis when he realizes he’s lost a precious bracelet given to him by one of the regular elementary students. He embarks on a midnight search, retracing his steps and combing likely spots from the barbershop through the alleyways. Viewers will be watching closely to see whether he finds it.
The bittersweet farewell between the barbershop trio and the town’s residents will air on Bogum Magical at 8:35 p.m. on the 3rd.
