[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] MBC’s long-running variety series Omniscient Interfering View will lighten up weekend primetime with a candid reunion between “Chinese food goddess” Park Eun-young and the show’s charismatic kitchen eccentric Yoon Nam-no.

Episode 391, airing March 28, follows the two chefs — who became meal and drinking companions after appearing on Black-and-White Chef — as they recount their memorable first meeting and the harsh realities of life as professional chefs.

The episode opens with a revelation that their now-easygoing rapport didn’t start out that way. Though both had reputations in the culinary world before filming, they admit they regarded each other like celebrities the first time they crossed paths on set. A seemingly warm exchange quickly took an unexpected turn: when Park asked, “Did you do a lot of prep?” Yoon responded with a blunt, offhand remark that left her taken aback. They bond over kitchen survival stories — from downing soju from beer glasses to working through second-degree burns to keep service running — and their shared intensity only deepens their friendship.

Yoon, who has drawn attention on the show with standout mukbangs ranging from late-night makchang joints to intimate at-home feasts, is slated to tempt viewers again with a ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab) mukbang. He also reveals a surprising personal detail — a shellfish allergy — and offers tips for enjoying gejang safely despite it.
