[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] tvN’s ‘Bogum Magical’ keeps a nonstop, high-energy pace as one-day part-timer Kim So-hyun joins the barbershop brothers for another busy shift.

In episode 8, airing on the 20th, Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon return to work after a day off. Kim So-hyun — who has connections to all three brothers — drops in as a one-day part-timer, much to their delight.

With looks that match quick instincts, Kim So-hyun moves through the shop with ease, becoming the brothers’ reliable extra pair of hands. She greets each customer warmly, lifts the shop’s mood, and carefully watches for what the busy trio needs—hinting at the arrival of an exceptionally perceptive assistant.

The day’s first clients draw attention: a 14-year-old middle schooler, an 11-year-old elementary student and an 18-month-old toddler all arrive and ask Park Bo-gum for haircuts. While Park attends to the middle schooler, multitasking whiz Kim So-hyun gently tends to the toddler, creating a heartwarming moment. But the little one soon struggles and says, “I want to cry too,” leaving viewers curious about what will happen next.

Although Park Bo-gum has built up experience cutting children’s hair at the shop, this is his first time cutting an 18-month-old’s hair. Getting the toddler to sit still is a challenge, and the child even refuses the haircut cape—raising the stakes for the rookie stylist as he works to complete the cut safely.

Meanwhile, Kwak Dong-yeon debuts a special menu designed to win over the three brothers and the shop’s regular elementary-school customers. The items are said to be treats that kids normally have to go downtown to get, a move that could cement Kwak’s status as the neighborhood’s favorite uncle.

In another segment, Kwak asks Park Bo-gum for a cut and blow-dry, prompting Park to try styling a colleague’s hair for the first time. Viewers are intrigued by the customer-satisfaction results after Kwak receives Park’s careful styling.

tvN’s ‘Bogum Magical,’ featuring a lively barbershop installment with one-day part-timer Kim So-hyun, airs tonight (the 20th) at 8:35 p.m.
