Song made her debut appearance on SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” on February 8th, capturing viewers’ attention.
During the episode, she offered a glimpse into her daily life, visiting a weekend farm in Taean with her father.
Her father stirred interest when he mentioned, “You called me recently and said you were dating a boyfriend who’s nine years younger.”
Previously on “I Am Solo,” Song had shared with her father about a mission where she said, “I went on a blind date with a guy who’s nine years younger and works for a major corporation.”
At the time, her father advised, “Age difference isn’t crucial, but give it careful thought.”
In this latest episode, her father expressed surprise at his daughter’s romance news, offering practical advice: “A five-year gap is okay, but a big generational difference can make communication challenging.”
Song tried to persuade her father by sharing her past experiences, saying, “Dating someone more than five years younger was actually more fun and we connected well.”
Her father responded supportively, “Don’t search too far for a partner; just bring him over first.”
In a December episode of “My Little Old Boy,” Song candidly told Jo Hyun-ah, “I took a four-year break from dating. My last relationship didn’t end well.”
Online, fans have shown support with comments like “Wishing you happiness,” “Hope you meet a great person,” and “Don’t let past dating experiences discourage you; embrace this new chapter.”
