Comedian Park Na-rae Set for First Police Questioning Over Alleged Manager Abuse and Illegal Medical Practices
A spokesperson for Park Na-rae confirmed to Sports Seoul on the 10th that the entertainer is scheduled to appear at the Gangnam Police Station on the 12th at 2:30 PM for her initial questioning as a defendant.
Park faces accusations from former managers, including charges of aggravated assault, defamation, and violations of both the Information and Communications Network Act and the Medical Act. The upcoming session will focus on these allegations.
In a counter-move, Park has filed her own complaint against the former managers at the Yongsan Police Station, citing attempted extortion and embezzlement. Both parties have already completed their initial witness testimonies.
Late last year, Park’s ex-managers publicly accused her of abusive behavior. Additionally, suspicions emerged that she received unauthorized medical treatments from an unlicensed practitioner known colloquially as “Injection Aunt A.”
Park is currently pursuing legal action to address these claims. In the meantime, she has suspended all her TV appearances and withdrawn from public life to reflect on the situation. sjay0928@sportsseoul.com
