| Comedian Jo Se-ho to officiate close friend Nam Chang-hee’s wedding
Jo Se-ho’s agency, A2Z Entertainment, confirmed to Variety on the 10th that the comedian will indeed be officiating Nam Chang-hee’s wedding ceremony. Sources reveal that Nam personally extended the invitation to Jo, who accepted after careful consideration. The duo, known for their tight-knit friendship in the entertainment world, formed the musical act “Jo Nam Ji-dae” in 2019. They’ve since released several hits, including “Where Are You Now,” “What’s a Good House Got to Do With It,” “Hey Fool, What’s Wrong,” “She Calls Me Friend,” and “Haven’t Heard It Yet.” In a touching display of reciprocity, Jo had previously asked Nam to officiate his own wedding in 2024. Now, Jo is returning the favor, further cementing their extraordinary bond. Nam first shared his engagement news on KBS CoolFM’s “Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee’s Mister Radio” on the 2nd, sparking a wave of congratulations from fans and colleagues alike. Having confirmed his relationship with a non-celebrity partner in July 2024, Nam announced, “I’m officially off the market. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve found my forever person. We’ve decided to embark on life’s journey together.” He added, “Our big day is set for February 22nd.” The ceremony will take place at the Shilla Hotel’s Dynasty Hall, coincidentally the same venue as Jo’s wedding. The grand ballroom can host up to 900 guests, with reports suggesting the rental fee alone runs into tens of millions of KRW (tens of thousands of USD).
