Actor Jung Joon-ho surprised his mother, who was concerned about her son’s marriage, by unexpectedly suggesting a blind date.
The YouTube series “Mental Studio – The Frustrating Pocha,” which aired on the afternoon of the 10th, featured actors Jung Joon-ho and Shin Hyun-joon opening a pop-up bar in Samcheok, Gangwon Province. There, they listened to citizens’ frustrating stories.
During the episode, Ms. Kim Jeong-im shared her story, saying, “There are many frustrating things at home.” She continued, “My son is at the age where he should be married. He’s 35 this year and still single.” She added, “Our whole family is on the shorter side, but he’s at least 170cm tall, and he’s quite handsome.”

She humorously emphasized, “The girl who becomes my daughter-in-law doesn’t need to bring anything. My son has everything prepared. But there’s just one condition! She has to be a bit taller than us!” This brought laughter as she insisted that height is the only requirement for her future daughter-in-law.
Upon hearing this, Shin Hyun-joon remarked, “Since you’re on our show, you’ll definitely find a great daughter-in-law.” At that moment, Jung Joon-ho surprised everyone by revealing, “I have about three candidates in mind,” suggesting he knew someone to introduce. However, he quickly added, “I need to check if she’s quit smoking,” and mentioned, “One works in broadcasting, and another is a journalist,” which elicited more laughter from the group.
