Hotels are beefing up their summer offerings, pairing seasonal packages, contemporary art exhibitions and city-focused wellness markets to combine relaxation with cultural programming.
New World Hotel & Resort is launching a summer campaign called More Than Summer.

The campaign positions summer not merely as a season but as an invitation to explore, connect and recharge. It pairs menus built around peak seasonal ingredients with property-specific packages so guests can experience summer’s vitality, warm hospitality and a sense of renewal.
New World Saigon will offer pool-bar barbecue skewers, dining perks at Cantonese restaurant Black Vinegar and lunch sets. An early-bird package offers up to 25% off, while the “Elevate in Style” package gives one free night with a two-night booking. New World Phu Quoc Resort is offering up to 30% off for stays of two nights or more, free admission to the Aqua World waterpark and family packages that include a breakfast buffet.
At Phu Quoc, The Hub will serve a family buffet dinner and a Korean-style melon bingsu, and The Bay Kitchen will present a Summer Escape afternoon tea. Coco Beach House will feature a summer seafood special during afternoon hours. New World Hoi An Beach Resort plans mixology and Vietnamese cooking classes and will host D’Hoi Summer Fest 2026 on June 26, blending beachside music and culinary programming.

Paradise Artspace will present Hong Kong–born contemporary artist Cynthia Mak’s first overseas solo exhibition, The Architecture of Joy, from May 22 through July 22. The show, organized by JPS Gallery of Tokyo and Hong Kong, traces Mak’s trajectory from Central Saint Martins–trained fashion designer to a painter and installation artist whose work celebrates bright, warm emotions, playfulness and joy.
Under the concept “where joy lingers, dreams take shape,” the exhibition investigates how human emotions inhabit both physical and imagined spaces. Mak arranges vivid geometric forms so visitors can become architects of their inner worlds and travel through an imagined city. The show also highlights the artist’s collaborations with global brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Isetan Shinjuku and Hong Kong Landmark.
The exhibition is organized into five sections—Form & Connection, Facade, Landscape, Building Block Estate and Marble Run. Visitors will encounter a textile collaboration with Tai Ping, geometric landscapes inspired by Along the River During the Qingming Festival, and three-dimensional installations that reflect Asian architectural aesthetics. The final section, Marble Run, is an interactive installation roughly 3 meters (about 9.8 feet) high, where visitors roll marbles and experience unpredictable, choice-driven outcomes.

Hotel Cappuccino will host the wellness market WellWellWell on the 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Framed around the themes of welcome, wellbeing and wellness, the event gives busy urban residents accessible ways to explore healthier habits. Admission is free; offerings include a flea market, food stalls, a flower-arranging class and rooftop yoga.
Seven teams will participate in the first-floor cafe flea market, offering gluten-free and vegan desserts, granola made with 100% natural ingredients, farm-based rice cakes and pesto, and yoga-themed illustrated goods. The outdoor terrace food market will serve handcrafted ube gelato, custom nachos with superfood toppings and nonalcoholic beer, creating an urban-picnic atmosphere.
Pre-booked programs include the flower class and rooftop yoga. The flower class, held in partnership with EL Itaewon, will upcycle empty wine bottles collected from the restaurant into seasonal centerpieces. Rooftop yoga, in collaboration with DiveIn, will take place on the hotel roof with views over the Gangnam skyline. On the day of the event, the first 100 attendees will receive a Café Cappuccino Americano, and a stamp-rally promotion will invite further participation.
