Coway introduced the Birex R Series, a lineup of beds that combines motion-bed mechanics with built-in stretching programs.

The Birex R Series pairs a stretching function that targets the lower back with motion-bed technology. Designed to help loosen tense muscles before sleep and gently rouse stiff muscles at wake-up, the lineup is offered in R7, R5 and R3 configurations to match different customer needs.
The R7 Stretching Motion Bed uses dual stretching cells and a lumbar support system to raise the lower-back region in 14 increments, lifting up to about 27.56 inches (700 mm). It includes 15 automatic stretching programs, a manual mode, and four position presets: zero-gravity, TV, upper-body elevation and lower-body elevation.
The R5 Stretching Bed concentrates on a 12-step stretching routine and comes with a wired LCD remote plus voice-control. The R3 Motion Bed lets users adjust angles across four zones—head, upper body, lumbar and lower body—and save a personalized \”MY Posture\” setting.
Control is available through the IoCare+ smartphone app. The R7 and R5 also support wake-up alarms tied to stretching, provide stretching reports and allow users to set habit-goal targets.
Coway also introduced the Birex Sleep System 81, a customizable suite that lets buyers mix mattress features, sizes, headboard designs and colors. In twin-bed setups, the R7, R5 and R3 can be paired with the RS Smart Bed or the R0 standard bed.
