Recently, Kim uploaded a video titled “Kim Sa-rang Decided to Diet While Reading Comments” to her YouTube channel, “Kim Sa-rang sa rang.” In the clip, she relaxes outdoors with staff, chatting casually as they enjoy pasta and pizza.
That day, Kim credited fasting after 5 p.m. with maintaining the same figure for 20 years. “I have a little yogurt and some mushroom rice in the morning,” she said. “If I eat only very small amounts of anything until 5 p.m., I lose about 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) a week. After that, I don’t eat at all and only drink water—that’s the key.” She added a practical tip: “If I do that for two weeks and lose 2 kg (4.4 lb), then maintain it for one or two months, I can eat a bit later without gaining weight.”
Despite her near-perfect figure, she confessed there are 2 kg (4.4 lb) that “just won’t come off,” and said she plans to tackle them now. When the production team suggested a goal, she replied she should lose 3–4 kg (6.6–8.8 lb), underscoring her disciplined approach.
Kim was candid about why her YouTube channel took so long to launch. “I wanted to share my everyday life beyond projects and commercials, so I started with interior work—but that process took two years and really drained my energy,” she said.
