On May 1, Han posted photos taken at a traditional hanok guesthouse in Sejong, writing, “It’s too beautiful to keep to myself — I had to share it.” She also disclosed, “By the way, I legally changed my name.”
She previously performed under the name Han Eun-jung before adopting the name Han Da-gam.
Han said she had never received so many congratulatory calls since her debut. “I think people were surprised and offered support because I became the oldest mother in the entertainment industry at 47,” she wrote. “What moved me most was knowing I gave hope to people who long for children. Many messaged me, saying my story gave them strength and that they won’t give up.” She added that while age cannot be ignored, times have changed and “self-care matters more than age.” “I want to give people dreams and hope. Consistency matters. This blessing came from hard work and careful self-care,” she wrote. “You can do it too — don’t give up; hold on to hope.”
Han said she plans to share small tips from her experience as a 47-year-old mother so others can share in the happiness.
Han married a businessman one year her senior in 2020 after a yearlong relationship. Born in 1980, she became pregnant at 46 (international age) and has received many congratulations.
