Discover the Upgraded Premium Experience at Asiana Country Club: A Golfer’s Paradise in 2026

Kumho Resort’s members-only Asiana Country Club has completed upgrades to its course and facilities and now offers a more refined, premium round experience.
Located in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, Asiana CC reorganized operations with a clear focus on course quality, playability and member satisfaction. Following the “quiet luxury” lifestyle trend, the club emphasized maintenance that preserves natural scenery over flashiness and refocused on the core values of the golf experience, including improvements to the clubhouse. The property features a sweeping East Course and a more nuanced West Course, both notable for landscapes that integrate with the environment and for carefully tended turf.
This year the club prioritized improving its greens—the course’s central asset. Having trialed a new green variety, “Pure Distinction,” last year, the club will complete replacement across 9 holes on the East Course by May as part of a proactive response to climate change. Pure Distinction offers better disease resistance and maintenance efficiency than the previously dominant variety, while maintaining uniform color and density year-round. Asiana CC plans to convert all greens to this variety by 2028 to boost summer green speeds and strengthen its standing as a premium golf venue.
The club also wrapped up infrastructure work to enhance member convenience. In March, staff repaved 7.6 km (about 4.7 miles) of cart paths on the West Course and refreshed directional markings between holes to improve cart stability. They also renovated 5 first-floor banquet rooms in the clubhouse, transforming them into private lounges with open garden views.
A Kumho Resort official said, “We are raising the overall standard at Asiana CC—including green quality—to deliver a premium experience members can feel. We will continue to build our competitiveness as a distinguished golf club through differentiated course-quality management and member-focused operations.”
