For engaged couples, outfitting a new home is more than decorating — it’s about designing a lifestyle.
With wellness devices that prioritize health and convenience rising beyond traditional appliances and furniture as a new bridal trend, the world’s first wellness robotics brand NAMUHX has been drawing attention.
SK Intelix’s NAMUHX is a wellness robot that combines multiple wellness solutions built on human-centered AI.
It includes AI-driven features such as autonomous navigation, a fully voice-controlled Air Solution, and a contactless Vital Sign Check.
NAMUHX uses autonomous movement and voice control to locate indoor pollution sources and actively manage air quality with its ‘Air Solution.’
It cleans roughly 10 times faster than a fixed air purifier intended for a 20-pyeong space (about 712 sq ft), and a single robot can cover up to a 60-pyeong area (about 2,135 sq ft). That lowers subscription and energy costs while increasing usable space.
Equipped with a high-performance air sensor and an all-in-one filter, it removes more than 99% of 28 pollutants — including ultrafine dust, bacteria and viruses — and is suitable for homes, offices and lobbies.
It also offers a ‘Vital Sign Check’ using contactless remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) to measure five key health indicators — body temperature, cardiac activity intensity, pulse, blood oxygen saturation and stress index — in under 10 seconds.
The robot supports lifestyle-driven wellness modes (Wakeup·Welcome·Relax) that adapt to a user’s daily routine.
As an on-device AI system, NAMUHX provides intelligent voice interaction that lets users control core features by voice alone, without extra device handling or a constant internet connection.
It integrates Google’s latest AI model, Gemini, to boost response speed and accuracy, and taps Google Search to deliver up-to-the-minute answers.
SK Intelix recently added a ‘Follow Me’ feature via an over-the-air (OTA) update so the robot now recognizes users and follows them at a set distance.
That makes air-quality management and Vital Sign Checks more convenient wherever users spend time. The robot also offers an ‘Air Shield’ mode that focuses on pollution sources such as fine dust kicked up during vacuuming or cooking.
Future updates will roll out services showcased at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, including a ‘Security’ feature, a security-guard service linked to emergency dispatch, and a ‘Healthcare Chatbot’ that combines biometric signals and personal health records to support meditation, nutrition and sleep management.
The robot also serves as a design object for newlyweds. An iF Design Award winner, it reinterprets the sculptural beauty of the traditional Korean moon jar (dalhangari) in a contemporary form, allowing it to blend naturally into living rooms, bedrooms and other spaces.
