Seoul’s city government said it will host “Haechi and Dreaming Children’s Day” at Seoul Plaza and City Hall for five days beginning May 1. In City Hall’s first-floor lobby, children can join the “Haechi Health Rescue Team” program. Participants take on the role of rescue workers tasked with protecting Haechi’s health and completing mission-based activities. There, children can test six physical abilities—such as muscular endurance and agility—and assess their development with an AI body scan. Seoul Plaza will open an interactive “Dream Hill” area featuring a wish tree where visitors pin written hopes, a workshop to make character crowns, and an activity inviting kids to design a “future business card” that imagines their careers. The permanent stage at City Hall’s “My Friend Seoul” gallery will host puppet shows and magic performances three times daily. Details are available on Seoul City’s website. Min Su-hong, Seoul’s director of public relations planning, said, “We designed this hands-on festival to connect Haechi’s message of dreams and hope with health activities, interactive experiences and performances so children’s dreams can grow one step further.” #Children’sDay #SeoulCity #HaechiFestival Yonhap News TV — For inquiries or tips: KakaoTalk/Line jebo23 Lee Jae-kyung (jack0@yna.co.kr)
