On April 24, the YouTube channel ‘Eomsshow’ posted a video titled “Age Wasn’t the Problem for My Figure,” in which Kim and colleague Yoon Min-hee walked viewers through her personal health routine.
In the video, Kim demonstrates “slow jogging” along the Han River embankment. She said she began the practice in March of last year and emphasized that the key is to run slowly enough to carry on a conversation with the person beside you.
She highlighted short strides and landing on the heels as distinctive features of the method, explaining that this motion stimulates the bones, helps maintain bone density and can be especially effective in preventing osteoporosis in menopausal women. She also pointed out that because it doesn’t leave you breathless, it’s easy to sustain over the long term.
After exercising, Kim described her diet approach, which she calls the “Oil-Only Cleanse.” The detox drink—made from parsley, lemon, water and Baja salt—is a cleansing method that has gained attention abroad.
She said she began the regimen after a health check flagged signs of fatty liver, which came as a shock. Hearing that parsley can aid liver detoxification prompted her to try it. She noted the biggest advantage is that it doesn’t require starving; she said that drinking the mixture for five days while continuing normal meals helped flush toxins and ease constipation.
After the cleanse, Kim revealed a flat abdomen and a narrow, S-shaped waist. She joked, “Can’t you see my stomach is flat now?” and teased, “Does this look like a 55-year-old’s body?”
Kim married in 2003 and has three sons and one daughter. She recently admitted she had breast augmentation after the birth of her fourth child.
