As the eyewear scene leans into modern spins on classic silhouettes, modern-contemporary label Karin has introduced ROENN—the standout sunglasses for its 2026 Spring/Summer lineup. Drawing inspiration from Audrey Hepburn, the collection pairs vintage charm with a wider distribution strategy designed to put the brand in front of more shoppers.
The ROENN family comes in three styles—ROENN R, ROENN S and ROENN B—each channeling the timeless elegance Hepburn showcased in Roman Holiday. Karin reimagined the film’s signature horn-rim frame, creating a refined look that reads both classic and effortlessly chic.
The brand slimmed down the traditionally bold horn-rim to reduce visual bulk and added a combination-temple detail inspired by a pearl necklace and a little black dress for a subtle, elegant touch. Silicone nose pads give all-day comfort, while a compressed acetate frame and hybrid construction optimize weight distribution for a lighter, more balanced fit.

Right now, fashion favors ‘classic reconfiguration’—modern reinterpretations of heritage pieces. Consumers are prioritizing timeless value and personal expression over fleeting trends, and eyewear labels are responding with designs that deliver both performance and polish.
To celebrate the ROENN launch, Karin will run promotions on its official website and in flagship stores. On April 1, the brand will also make its debut at The Shilla Seoul downtown duty-free shop, expanding its retail footprint.
That retail strategy aims to reach both local shoppers and visiting tourists, widening consumer touchpoints and boosting brand awareness. Industry observers say the move should strengthen Karin’s position in the premium eyewear market and help pave the way for broader global growth.
