The Korea Fashion Association announced on March 27 that its president, Seong Rae-eun, made an on-site visit to Fashion Code 2026 F/W on March 26. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency and the Korea Fashion Designers Federation.
Fashion Code 2026 F/W acted as a unified platform covering everything from business consultations to consumer sales. The three-day event ran March 25–27 at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
After attending the Phenomenon Cipher runway show, President Seong met with participating Korean designers to hear their on-the-ground concerns. Conversations focused on practical challenges—breaking into domestic and international sales channels, smoother matching with manufacturers, securing initial operating funds, and connecting brands with investors.
He also held in-depth talks with Lee Sang-bong, president of the Korea Fashion Designers Federation, about strengthening Korea’s manufacturing competitiveness and advancing the Fashion Industry Promotion Act. The association said it will keep collaborating with the federation and use field feedback to shape support programs for K-fashion designers.
Marking his second year in office, President Seong has continued these on-site efforts to boost K-fashion’s global competitiveness. He said, “We will continue to actively support domestic fashion designers through on-the-ground communication.”
