[The Public — Reporter Jo Doo-hee] Lotte Department Store is kicking off a 10-day spring sale across all locations from the 27th through the 5th of next month. Alongside discounts, shoppers can expect curated events like Gourmet Week, Wine Week, a wedding fair and a lineup of pop-ups designed to capture the season’s buzz.
Some 360 brands — including new 2026 S/S arrivals — are joining the event, with fashion pieces marked down up to 50%. Seasonal accessories such as hats and scarves, plus jewelry, will be up to 30% off. The sale also highlights spring-ready home décor and kitchenware within the lifestyle category. Lotte Card customers will receive Lotte gift certificates worth roughly 5% of their purchases during the promotion.
To satisfy spring dining cravings, Lotte is running “Lotte Gourmet Week.” Nine stores near city parks (Main Store, Jamsil, Konkuk Star City, Jungdong, Guri, Dongnae, Ulsan, Jeonju and Changwon) will offer limited “picnic sets” — grab-and-go menus packed in disposable containers — priced around ₩10,000–₩20,000 (about $7.50–$15.00). Additionally, each Friday through Sunday during the event, the Lotte Department Store app will distribute a first-come, first-served ₩5,000 (about $3.75) Elpay-only coupon for purchases of ₩20,000 (about $15.00) or more.
Wine Week will run alongside, with drinks that pair perfectly with picnics offered at discounts of up to 80%, elevating springtime dining experiences.
Seasonal pop-ups will add to the mood. On the first floor of Lotte World Mall, Lotte is hosting the retailer’s first pop-up celebrating the domestic launch of Van Cleef & Arpels Parfum through April 12, exclusively showcasing the limited high-end Les Classiques collection. In Basement 1, a month-long pop-up for men’s business-casual brand Porteri opens on the 31st. On April 2, the Jamsil store’s 5th-floor men’s fashion hall will debut the retailer’s first location for Hago House’s new men’s label, Tailedon.
A Wedding Fair for engaged couples runs April 3–12. The event takes place across all department stores and concurrently at Lotte Mall Dongbusan, Lotte Outlet Goyang and Lotte Outlet Gwangmyeong. Lotte will also double Wedding Mileage rewards for wedding-specialized services during the fair.
In total, 133 brands are participating, from luxury names like Montblanc to premium furniture labels such as Koino, Incasa and Domisil, and fashion houses including Songzio Paris and Le Romant.
Shoppers who spend over ₩10,000,000 (about $7,500) during the event will be entered into a drawing for tickets to The Hanok Heritage hotel gala dinner — an exclusive AvenueL customer perk.
Park Sang-woo, head of marketing at Lotte Department Store, said, “We’ve concentrated our sale benefits for customers planning spring outings in a season that’s getting shorter, and we’ve strengthened perks for engaged couples through our spring Wedding Fair. We hope everyone enjoys spring shopping and the events at Lotte Department Store.”
