Uncovering fashion and retail roles: Musinsa and Korea Employment Agency deepen ESG-focused hiring collaboration

Musinsa Retail Service has teamed up with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities to open up more career opportunities in the fashion and retail industries for people with disabilities.
On March 24, the agency and Musinsa Retail Service signed an agreement at Musinsa’s Seoul headquarters in Seongdong District titled “Agreement to Promote Employment of Persons with Disabilities to Realize Social Value and Practice ESG Management.”
Through this partnership, the two organizations will step up efforts to increase hiring of people with disabilities, strengthen job stability, and create more disability-friendly workplaces.
The agency will map out roles that suit people with disabilities, propose scalable employment models, and support companies with tailored services — from recruitment support to vocational training.
Musinsa Retail Service plans to pinpoint positions ideal for candidates with disabilities across fashion and retail. It will also help build inclusive work settings, including adding a job-experience center within a vocational training facility for people with developmental disabilities.
Lee Jong-seong, president of the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities, said he hopes the agreement will offer a model for hiring people with disabilities in fashion and retail and vowed to actively promote ESG-driven employment practices.
