Musinsa announced on February 10 that it has chosen the top three brands from the 6th cycle of its ‘Musinsa Next Fashion Scholarship (MNFS)’ program and is now fully committed to supporting their brand debuts.

MNFS is Musinsa’s flagship social initiative, designed to help fashion-loving college students and budding entrepreneurs launch and grow their own brands. This 6th cycle features an innovative two-track system: a ‘Scale-Up Track’ and a ‘Final Track’, aimed at boosting brand independence beyond just offering scholarships.

From September to December last year, participants in the Scale-Up Track completed intensive lectures and expert mentoring sessions focused on branding and production planning.

Musinsa awarded each successful Scale-Up Track participant a 500,000 KRW (about 375 USD) scholarship. With this funding, the scholars crafted unique prototypes for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

Musinsa then selected the top three finalist brands for the ‘Final Track’ from 11 brands that produced prototypes through the Scale-Up Track.

After a thorough evaluation of brand portfolios, prototypes, and visual content, Pseudonym, OGI, and EYANG emerged as the top three finalists.

To ensure fairness and market viability, Musinsa combined scores from industry experts, including current designer brand directors and fashion buyers, with results from public voting on the Musinsa app.

The three selected brands will participate in the ‘Final Track’ from February to April. Musinsa plans to support them with professional lookbook photography and promotional opportunities using its marketing infrastructure to help them successfully enter the market.

In April, Musinsa will host an exclusive pop-up store in Seoul’s trendy Seongsu-dong, giving the brands a chance to connect directly with customers and make their official debut.

A Musinsa spokesperson shared, “It’s incredibly exciting to see the creativity and passion of our MNFS 6 scholars come to life in their products. We’re grateful for their dedication throughout the Scale-Up Track. Through the upcoming Final Track, we’re committed to fully supporting these emerging designers with Musinsa’s resources as they take their first steps and grow into sustainable brands.”
