Korean global beauty brand Anua made waves in Japan last year with its stunning success.
Anua, managed by global brand builder The Founders, snagged an impressive 60 awards at major Japanese cosmetic events throughout 2025, solidifying K-beauty’s powerhouse status.
The brand swept up these 60 accolades from various prestigious beauty media outlets and platforms in Japan, including BITEKI, VOCE, Qoo10, and @cosme. Anua’s star player, the ‘PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum,’ stole the show by clinching the top spot in the serum category at VOCE’s ‘Korean Best Cosmetic Awards 2025’ and racking up a whopping 14 awards in total – the most for any Anua product.

Other Anua favorites also basked in the spotlight. The ‘PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum Mask’ bagged seven awards, including Best Newcomer and first place in the PDRN category. Meanwhile, the cult-favorite ‘Houttuynia Cordata 77 Soothing Toner’ scooped up six awards, with the LOFT Best Cosmetic first place among them.
Anua’s Japan-exclusive products hit the mark too. The ‘Azelaic Acid 15 Intense Calming Serum,’ specially crafted for Japanese consumers, topped the WWD Mid-Year New Product Awards.
These wins showcase Anua’s all-round excellence across various product categories – from serums to toners and sheet masks – proving its competitive edge in both online and offline Japanese retail channels.
An Anua spokesperson gushed, “Scoring 60 awards is huge for us, especially considering how meticulous Japanese customers are about ingredients and efficacy. We’re committed to keep pushing the envelope with innovative products tailored to local preferences, aiming to elevate K-beauty’s status globally.”
