With daytime highs already topping 77°F (25°C) in May, summer is practically knocking on the door — and hotels are rolling out tempting seasonal packages to welcome it.
The Grand Hyatt Seoul is launching a month-long wellness program in May called Wellness Series – Journey to Recovery, focused on sensory balance and deep relaxation. The hotel partners with wellness lifestyle brand TWW and premium home esthetic brand OnFace to present the series.
This installment slows things down to prioritize breath and sensory reset. The Aroma Yoga Reset session emphasizes sensory flow rather than vigorous movement. Participants select a scent curated by TWW that fits how they’re feeling, then move through calming breathwork and a gentle yoga flow to release tension step by step. Rather than a standard workout, the session centers on opening the senses with fragrance and restoring the rhythm of the breath. The experience concludes with OnFace’s LED mask therapy.
Each week features a different theme. Wellness Series – Journey to Recovery runs at 5 p.m. on Saturdays, May 9, 16, 23 and 30, with up to 12 participants per session. Reservations are available through Naver Reservations.
The Westin Josun Seoul is offering a summer package called Heritage Summer Table from May 8 through September 30. Designed as a chic urban getaway that brings sensory moments into everyday life, the package includes a special gift: a Josun Heritage Tableware Set created in collaboration with Korean pottery brand Mujagi.
The Josun Heritage Tableware Set includes two white porcelain plates (small and medium) inspired by summer light. Suite guests receive two additional sets, and executive- and suite-level guests also enjoy Westin Club access for breakfast and cocktail hour. The package includes pool, fitness and sauna access for a more relaxed, upscale stay. Eligible stays run from June 1 through September 30. An early-bird promotion through May 20 offers up to 10% off.
Seoul Dragon City will open its rooftop Cabana City early on May 15, bringing a summer-resort vibe to the city skyline and kicking off full summer operations. Cabana City will operate in three seasonal phases: Early Summer, Summer and Late Summer.
Early Summer runs May 15–June 18 and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. During this period, the rooftop emphasizes dining and debuts a Rooftop Chicken & Hops Set—perfect for sipping a beer while soaking in the urban view.
For the full Summer season (June 19–August 23), hours expand to daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the pool opens fully. Dining packages that include pool access are a major draw: daytime offerings include a rooftop lunch set with a welcome drink, while evenings feature poolside BBQ platters alongside the rooftop dining menu.
Late Summer (August 24–September 20) adjusts to Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Daytime dining mirrors the Summer season, and evenings bring back the Rooftop Chicken & Hops Set. Pool access continues so guests can savor the season into late summer.
The Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel’s classic Chinese restaurant HoBin (豪賓) is offering a special family-course menu called Geumok Mandang through June 30 to celebrate Family Month and wish families health and prosperity. Renowned Chinese master chef Hu Deok-juk personally crafted the menu.
The six-course Geumok Mandang includes a mango-lobster appetizer; Hongso Daesaseon (a red-braised specialty); Peking duck; Soyangdonggo in a fish-fragrant sauce; Chengdu-style noodle soup; and a dessert. Guests can opt for a premium kaoliang spirit pairing to elevate the flavors. For details and reservations, visit the Ambassador Hotel Group’s official website or call the hotel directly.
