[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Lee Jae-hoon — “Golden,” the song from Netflix’s animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters, continues to hold a prominent spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Billboard’s chart preview posted Feb. 2 (local time) for the Feb. 7 chart shows “Golden,” performed by the film’s fictional girl group Huntrix, steady at No. 4 — the same position it held last week.
The track has already spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and has now logged 32 weeks on the chart.
Its momentum was reinforced when it won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 68th Grammy Awards the previous day — the first Grammy ever awarded to a K-pop song.
“Golden” is also nominated for Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards in March.
Meanwhile, former One Direction member Harry Styles debuted at No. 1 on this week’s Hot 100 with his new single “Aperture.”
It is Styles’s third Hot 100 No. 1; he previously reached the summit with “Watermelon Sugar” (2020) and “As It Was” (2022).{vi21}
