The series uses the original premise of a government agency—the Bureau for the Protection of Educational Authority—to confront the realities of classroom life directly, delivering a story that aims to be both cathartic and sincere.
The teaser’s tagline, “We Will Protect You,” positions the bureau as an advocate for victims amid chaotic school scenes and raises questions about how it will respond to each case.
Starring Kim Mu-yeol, Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo and Pyo Ji-hoon, “True Education” premieres on Netflix on June 5.
