Airport High School senior Austin Nedo arrives at school on a tractor for Tractor Day[Source: Paul Sancya/AP][Source: Paul Sancya/AP]
Graduating seniors at Airport High School in Carleton, Michigan, drew attention with an offbeat tradition: arriving on tractors, ATVs and golf carts. KSL reported on May 22 that students took part in the school’s annual “Tractor Day” ahead of commencement. Rather than driving regular passenger cars, many seniors steered farm equipment and off‑road vehicles into the school parking lot. Chase Havel drove the same tractor his brother used at a previous Tractor Day. Austin Nedo brought the oldest vehicle — a modified 1940 Farmall that once belonged to his great‑great‑grandfather. The event, which dates back to the 1980s, is meant to give seniors one last memorable moment and to honor the community’s agricultural heritage. School officials estimate about 150 of roughly 180 seniors participated this year. #USA #Michigan #HighSchool #TractorDay #Tractor Yonhap News TV — Inquiries and tips: KakaoTalk/Line jebo23 Nam Yoon‑ah (yunanam@yna.co.kr)
