[Sports Today reporter Song Oh-jung] SM Entertainment executives Kim Ji-won, the company’s chief relations officer, and Choi Jung-min, chief global officer, were named winners at Billboard’s Women in Music 2026.
On the 17th (local time), Billboard posted the list of winners on its official website, placing Kim and Choi in the Labels, Distributors and Artist Services category.
Billboard Women in Music honors female artists, creators, producers and executives who drive innovation, shape the future of music and have made notable contributions to the industry over the past year.
Kim and Choi were also honored last year alongside SM act aespa, making this their second consecutive year on the list.
A PR veteran since the 2000s, Kim Ji-won has led public relations and marketing strategies for SM artists and the company. Her strategic media planning and comprehensive communications efforts have raised artists’ profiles and strengthened SM’s brand both domestically and internationally.
Choi Jung-min oversees artist and corporate branding and business across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Through close partnerships with regional affiliates, he has driven local promotional campaigns that supported business growth and expanded SM’s global fandom.
