Two-Star Michelin Chefs Bring a Taste of Portugal to Seoul

Hotels are unveiling a lineup of seasonal promotions designed to make summer feel a little more special.

Constance, the fine buffet at Chosun Palace, is staging a two-night special dinner on June 3 and 4, inviting chefs from a two-Michelin-star Portuguese restaurant. Put together in collaboration with the Portuguese Food Association, the event brings two chefs from Casa de Chá da Boa Nova to showcase the heart and soul of Portuguese cuisine. Guests can dine at Constance’s buffet and savor exclusive collaborative dishes created by the visiting chefs—making the evening feel distinctly global and memorable.

The “Portuguese Gastronomic Experience” features seven dishes at Constance that marry Portugal’s culinary traditions with modern flair. Highlights include Fish & Lobster Broth Rice—rock lobster, sea bass, and grouper in a rich bisque; Lagareiro-style grilled octopus seasoned with olive oil and garlic; and a tomato lasagna built around Portuguese-style sardines, alongside other seafood-forward creations.

To complement the menu, premium Portuguese red wines will be available, plus Porto Tónico—the signature Portuguese cocktail made with red wine and white port—to complete the tasting. Reservations are available by phone, on the Chosun Palace official website, or through CatchTable.

DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo is offering a complimentary, guest-only wellness class called Family Yoga at the Garden, part of its Ritual Hub program that curates special on-site experiences.

With the season themed “coming together,” the class invites busy guests to step into the hotel’s green garden, breathe under open skies, and move to restore balance. The session focuses on gentle yoga poses and deep-breathing techniques that are beginner-friendly, aimed at releasing tension and calming the mind. Each class concludes with a guided meditation accompanied by the soothing resonance of a singing bowl for a deeper sense of relaxation.

Family Yoga at the Garden also emphasizes the emotional connection that comes from synchronizing breath and movement with others. Classes run every Saturday at 4:30 p.m. for about 50 minutes and are free for DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo guests. Participation is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served reservation basis to ensure an immersive experience. The venue may change depending on weather.

To celebrate its sixth anniversary, Signiel Busan is rolling out a special gratitude promotion. Guests staying in Deluxe, Premier, or Signiel Premier rooms can choose one perk per night: a 60,000 KRW (≈ $45.00) hotel credit or a room upgrade.

Suite packages—from Deluxe Suite to Presidential Suite—include a 60,000 KRW (≈ $45.00) hotel credit, 6 p.m. late checkout, a bottle of red wine, a mini cake, and a d’Alba signature OLLSERA Double Shot device as complimentary gifts. Guests who book the anniversary package for the hotel’s opening day on June 17 will also receive an extra mini cake per room to mark the celebration. Booking runs from May 14 through June 7, and stays are available through July 17.

Meanwhile, The View, the hotel’s all-day dining venue, is offering a 20% discount on lunch and dinner throughout June for guests celebrating birthdays that month. On the anniversary date, each guest will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or a nonalcoholic beverage.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul has launched “101 Days of Summer,” a curated summer dining program for the city-dweller who wants a tasteful escape. On the first floor at Maru, the hotel is serving two elevated bingsu—a classic and a Jeju Apple Mango version—available from May 1. Order both and enjoy a 10% discount.

From May 15, the Garden Terrace on the 15th floor will offer seasonal fruit sundaes that capture a fresh summer mood. Creamy organic milk vanilla soft serve is paired with premium seasonal fruit and finished tableside with a fruit sauce. Using mango, peach, mixed berries, and other peak-season fruits, these sundaes are perfect for savoring on the outdoor terrace.

At H. Bar, the hotel’s laboratory-style cocktail bar, head bartender Odd Strandbakken debuts a seasonal H. Bar Gin & Tonic on June 1. This breezy reinterpretation balances a Korean gin with floral notes of rose, marigold, and lemon balm against a crisp tonic, then crowns the drink with finely shaved, flash-frozen domestic watermelon—like a cloud on top—to deliver a bright, refreshing summer sip.
