Twosome Place signed a domestic master franchise agreement (MFA) with Van Leeuwen earlier this year. The brand is set to officially launch in Korea this summer, kicking off at the Gangnam Station location with additional shops planned before year-end.
The signature “Vanilla Bean” is crafted by grinding whole Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans for an intensely fragrant scoop. Other offerings include “Sicilian Pistachio,” made with pistachios grown in the volcanic soils of Mount Etna, and a refined “Earl Grey” flavor.
A Twosome Place spokesperson said, “Van Leeuwen started as an ice cream truck in 2008 and has won fans among global celebrities thanks to its strong product philosophy and stylish brand.”
