[TV Daily reporter Kim Han-gil] Lina, the protagonist of the family musical Lina, Superhero—drawn from the paintings of Eva Armisen—will make her debut as an AI singer.
On the 14th, Lina will release her first digital single, “Flower in You.” The launch will include an AI-animated music video of roughly 3 minutes and 30 seconds that expands on the musical’s world and story. Artist Roy Oh, known for his AI-driven visual direction, contributed to the video and helped raise its production value. For this project, Roy Oh realized Lina as an AI vocalist, shaping the visuals to emphasize emotional nuance and narrative clarity. He said, “Eva Armisen’s paintings held emotions that needed to move. This wasn’t a simple technical experiment; it was about bringing paintings with emotion to life.” The immersive exhibition Lina, Superhero, which opened on the 1st, is also drawing audiences and gaining momentum through word of mouth.
