Maserati Korea served as an official sponsor of the 2026 KRA Cup Asia Junior Equestrian Competition on May 2–3, presenting the brand’s signature refinement. The Korea Racing Authority hosted the international event, which brought together 28 junior riders from 15 Asian countries, and Maserati Korea participated as the luxury lifestyle partner.
Combining equestrian elegance with Maserati’s identity
Maserati Korea noted that equestrian sport’s blend of elegance, poise and a drive to push limits aligns closely with the brand’s core values. To underscore that connection, the company positioned flagship models around the venue to showcase Maserati’s engineering and design to spectators.
The display included five models — among them the classic Italian GT GranTurismo Trofeo, the high-performance convertible GranCabrio Trofeo, the luxury SUV Grecale Modena and the brand’s first all-electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore. The GranTurismo Trofeo and Grecale Folgore were showcased indoors in a special exhibit that visually complemented the event’s dynamic equestrian performances.
Escort vehicles performed well despite poor weather
Maserati deployed the GranTurismo Trofeo and Grecale Folgore as official escort vehicles for the teams. Despite rain that left surfaces uneven, the cars provided Maserati’s characteristic stability and a comfortable ride, giving athletes a distinctly luxurious way to travel between venues.
Maserati Korea operated a dedicated brand booth where visitors could receive vehicle consultations and customer service. Fans inspected the display cars up close and sampled what the company describes as the essence of Italian luxury.
Gaurav Tapa, head of Maserati Korea, said the sport’s emphasis on performance and a willingness to exceed limits resonates with the brand’s philosophy. He added that Maserati will continue to pursue collaborations across lifestyle sectors so customers can experience the brand’s values in unique ways.
