In the clip, Jeon Somi recalled that I.O.I’s original run lasted less than nine months. She said she’s relieved they reunited — otherwise, she felt she might never have been able to move on. “It would have become a lingering regret that stayed with my soul,” she added.
After 10 years, I.O.I finally has an official fandom name. Yoo Yeon-jung said the group had long felt aggrieved: they lacked a proper fandom name and official cheering items, which was a sore point that has now been resolved.
